Is it safe to take quinapril-hydrochlorothiazide while pregnant or breastfeeding?

No!: Quinapril can cause birth defects. Please tell your doctor if you are planning a pregnancy so that you can switch to another medication. None of the ace inhibitors are safe in pregnancy (many of them end in "-pril"). Only small amounts are in breastmilk, but i would consider another blood pressure medicine during nursing.

Depends: This med is considered a risk during pregnancy especially during the 2nd & 3rd trimesters. It is likely safe in breast feeding unless the baby is premature.
