Yes: Qvar is an inhaler steroid used to treat asthma. It is one of the preferred steroids for used in pregnancy noted by the american college of ob/gyn. Minimal amounts make it to the breast milk, and it should not be a problem for the baby if used while breast feeding.

Depends: Given that Qvar is inhaled you do not have significant amount of medication going into the blood. Therefore your fetus should not have significant exposure. That being said Pulmicort is another inhaled steroid that has pregnancy category b.
