I : I need you to clarify a few things. What medication are you on now? If it is only victoza (liraglutide) r=then that medication does not cause menstrual irregularities. Also was your first period evern this year? If you are overweight, this is likely the reason you are not having periods. When you are overweight your body produces too much estrogen which cause an imbalance in your hormones thus preventing your period. Also there is a syndrome called polycystic ovarian syndrome which tends to be common in diabetics, this is also an issue with a hormonal imbalance, also thyroid disorders can be a possible cause. I suggest you visit a gynecologist or your primary care provider for a work up of your irregular periods. Best of luck.
