Is infection a risk with botox injections? how often, if at all, is infection an issue with botox injections?

Infection : Infection is pretty rare after a Botox injection. It is typically a well tolerated procedure but side effects include headache and droopy eyelid and others that are fairly uncommon. Read more about botox, including before and after pictures, at the link below. I hope that helps.

Any : Any time the skin is broken, there is a risk of infection (even a paper cut!) but this is very rare with Botox injections. In 15 years, I have never seen it.

Infection : Infection is a risk if sterile technique is not utilized. Botox itself is not a risk for infection.
