What is the difference between puretox and botox? i was planning to have botox injections, but my dermatologist told me that he prefers puretox. i've never heard of this drug; how is it different from botox?

Purtox : Purtox is not legal to be used in the us yet, but the overseas experience claims it is more similar to Dysport rather than botox, both of them seeming to take effect a little faster than botox.

That : That is similar to asking what is the difference between anacin and excedrin. The active ingredient is Aspirin but there may be differences in some of the other minor ingredients. To the best of my knowledge puretox is not yet available nor is it fda approved in the usa but the active ingredient is botoulinum toxin which is essentially the same as botox, xeomin (incobotulinumtoxin a) and dysport.
