She : She needs to be completely evaluated by her physician again. Ongoing abdominal pain, nausea and back pain are very concerning symptoms. She could have diverticulitis, urinary tract infection, an infection in her tubes, or other causes. It is very important that she undergo a complete evaluation immediately. If she has ongoing pain, fever, vomiting, or light-headedness/faintness, then she needs to be seen in the er immediately.

Agree with Dr. E.: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
