I : I am an invisalign premier provider and recommend using invisalign aligners as bleaching trays all the time. Professional at home whitening systems i recommend include daywhite and nitewhite 35% for 30 minutes per day for 10 days. Not only will your teeth be straight but white as well! good luck.

You : You can definitely use invisalign trays for bleaching your teeth. There are many techniques available today to whiten your teeth. If you are doing this for the 1st time it is critical to consult your dentist and orthodontist which way is the best for your teeth. If you have thin gums and recession on some of the teeth, you might experience root sensitivity.

Invialign : Invialign aligners can work as home bleaching trays. The only drawback is that most invisalign treatment plans include "buttons" or attachments placed on the front or facial surfaces of a number of teeth. This will prevent the whitening solution from reaching those areas and can sometimes result in uneven whitening. Once the active treatment is complete any buttons will be removed and you can certainly use your clesr retainer to whiten. Although there are many over the counter bleaching solutions, the best one is that which your dentist can supply.

Yes : Yes you can use the aligners, but they will not work as well as the tray specifically designed for that purpose. The invisalign trays are hard and very well form fitted to your teeth, therefore they will allow very little room for the whitening gel. The whitening trays are soft and not very tightly fitted to your teeth, thus they allow room for the whitening gel. Some dentist create trays with reservoir to hold the gel in place. These are the best for whitening your teeth. If you do deside to use your invisalign trays to whiten your teeth, use very little gel.

There : There is no reason why you should not be able to get some kind of effective bleaching result using well made invisalign trays, but i think properly made beaching trays will get a better result. The invisalgn trays should extend down to just shy of the gum line and so should not allow excess tooth whitening gel to irritate the gingivae (gums). Any of the bleaching geld should work well. I suggest you ask your dentist. Dr. Neil mcleod dentistry that lasts - qaulity that counts.

First : First of all i would like to congratulate you on your determination to take care of your teeth orthodontically, you made a good choice with invisalign. Your aligners can be used without a problem with any professional whitening system that your dentist can offer. The home care whitening system uses the same type of trays you are wearing with invisalign, just don't forget to follow the instructions, every brand has a different concentrations of the active ingredient, and the wearing time varies, you shouldn't be worry about it because your dentist will give you instructions before delivering the kit. Good luck on your journey to perfect healthy teeth!

Absolutely: You can use your aligners as bleaching trays. You want straight, white teeth. Please use prescription take home bleach from your dentist. Use much less, then for a conventional bleach tray, as your aligners are very snug. Take are..L.

White out: Some orthodontic specialists may incorporate bleaching with their clear aligner treatments and others may not. If the bleaching material cannot be completely brushed and rinsed out of the aligner tray, they might not be as crystal clear as they once were. Please ask your orthodontist for their recommendation.

1 thing @ a time: Your concern at this point in treatment should be correcting your malocclusion. After your teeth are straight is the appropriate time to consider whitening. And don't put anything into your aligners except your teeth. Talk to your Dentist about staging.
