May last several yea: Saphenous vein grafts, if properly harvested and in excellent condition, may last 6-10 years; sometimes longer depending on patients genetics and lifestyle and general medical condition. Arterial conduits, such as radial artery or internal mammary artery, typically last longer by a few years and is the preferred choice whenever possible.
