I : I am very concerned about your symptoms. I would like you to see a neurologist and have a complete evaluation of your symptoms. Your symptoms sound somwhat like a concussion, but the duration is very concerning and you need a full neurological evaluation. If you are having this severe of symptoms then you should not be participating in any type of sports until you are cleared. In addition, you should see your ENT doctor again to re-evaluate your persistent injury. But seeing the neurologist is most important at this time. If you have worsening headache, visual changes, vomiting, weakness or numbness then you will have to be seen as an emergency.

I : I would recommend a neurologic consult. If you are continuing to get elbowed in the nose you could be experiencing another concussion. You also might want to rule out TMJ or a maxillary jaw fracture. They may have missed it 4-5 months ago when you fractured your nose. If the smell of blood is coupled with the taste of blood in your mouth, it could be a dental issue. After a neurologic consult you may seek the opinion of an oralmaxillofacial surgeon. Take a break from practice and games until you are asymptomatic. The team would rather you healthy than have you miss the season.
