From : From what you say i would assume your mother has a neurologist or primary care doctor who referred her to the neuropsychologist. The simplest thing to do is to discuss the report with that doctor. It sounds as though the neuropsychologist was not as thorough as he/she might have been. The person who has followed her for her medical problems would be capable of interpreting the report with regard to your mother's status.

2nd opinion: Neuropsychological reports can be complex, but they usually contain a great deal of detail and test scores that can help with proper diagnosis. Aksing, with mother's consent off course, to confer with the neuropsychologist or a neuroplogist and asking questions may help. As with any doubts in diangosis, you could seek a senior neuropsychologist w lots o experience to review the file and report.
