No: You may actually sleep worse which could worsen depression. There are specific lights sold that address seasonal affective disorder (sad) that can be used during daylight hours.

No, but...: Sleeping with the lights on won't help. Bright light (i.e., sunlight-level) exposure for 20-30 minutes in the morning, however, just might.
