I have persistant heartburn that gets so bad that i throw up then i feel a little better. i have tried acid reflux pills, and heartburn pills but nothing helps. i don't know what is causing this.

At : At this point it is time to see your doctor. You will likely need an endoscopy (a procedure where your doctor will be able to look at your upper GI tract including your stomach). You may have a hiatal hernia, ulcers, gastritis/esophagitis etc. This is a serious issue since you are now vomiting for relief. Please schedule a visit with your doctor right away. In the meantime avoid any spicy foods, caffeine, acidic foods, medications including ibuprofen, aspirin, or aleve (naproxen). Best of luck.
