A member asked:

My boyfriend tells me that he had a lack of b12 as a baby, and meaning he won't be able to help me conceive later on in our relationship. is this true?

No: I have no idea where he came up with this business. Parents misunderstand and tell children all kinds of weird things. Unfortunately, B12 deficiency in children is fairly common, usually from non-supplementing vegans breast-feeding or forcing veganism on tiny children. It can be a safe choice but only if you know exactly what you're doing. Have your man get a sperm count if you're concerned.
