I : I wouldn't recommend trying to reset your nose yourself. An ear, nose, throat doctor (or facial plastic surgeon) would be the best type of doctor to see to have the fracture treated appropriately.

Resetting : Resetting nasal anatomy to a more normal alignment is tricky. Doing it yourself is not advised--we have all heard the stories and watched the movies in which a broken nose is pushed back into place, but it is usually not that easy. Easiest repair by a specialist is in the first week. You can extend that to 10 days, but the chance of success is less. Any deformity after that would need a rhinoplasty (nose job).

I : I concur with the other answers. It would take a very bold person to set his own nose. The results in addition to being painful would be highly unpredictable. An ENT md should see you within the first 10 days to offer the best to chance to reposition it in the office. If not you would be a candidate for rhinoplasty.
