A member asked:

Should you have pets in bed with sick children pneumonia

Pets : Pets can be a great comfort to us - especially when we're not feeling well. As long as the child does not have allergies or asthma associated with the pet, then it's likely not a problem. If the child is not used to a pet in the bed and the animal is keeping the child awake, then you may also want to move the pet out of the room. (my dog woofs and runs in his sleep which means he gets to sleep in the living room, not the bedrooms).

If there: are no other issues with the pet(e.g. allergies etc...) then it is a personal decision, and won't have any effect on the pneumonia.
