From a medical standpoint, i think it is the responsibility of the carrier to inform their partner, especially if the intention is to have intimate contact. A person colonized with MRSA can have a normal sexual relationship, however hygiene precautions should be taken. Handwashing is actually the best way to prevent the spread of mrsa. Take care.
