Mrsa: Mrsa is contagious with skin to skin contact. If the infection is in an area that can be covered during sex, cover it. If the rash is wet or draining contact should be avoided. If the rash is not in an area where skin contact occurs mrsa is irrelevant.

MRSA: MRSA can be spread by any direct skin contact, including the sharing of towels and sheets. It is found in the soil, beach sand, just about everywhere. One in 50 individuals carry it on their skin and dont get sick. If you were treated with antibiotics because you became sick from MRSA or contracted it from a hospital stay, avoid physical contact until you complete the treatment.
