The : The most important thing for her to do is practice good hygiene. Hand washing is key! to answer your question, yes she can cause infection in another part of her body. For example if she sneezes and forgets to wash her hands and inadvertently touches an open sore/cut on her body, there is a chance for infection. Like i stated previously this can be prevented by simple handwashing. There are treatments for people colonized with mrsa, she should discuss this with her doctor. Take care.

Yes.: Testing positive for MRSA doesn't mean you will get an infection. Good skin hygiene is important. Wash with soap and water, rinse well and use a moisturizer to keep skin supple to avoid tears and cracks that can lead to infected wounds.
