Not Typically: This would not be an expected outcome; in fact, the expected outcome is that one would live a bit longer with the aortic stenosis being corrected. It is possible to have a shorter life expectancy is there is a complication from the surgery.

If it is severe, as can damage the heart and result in a shorter life expectancy. If the risk of surgery is lower than the risk of as, then on the average surgery should result in an improved life expectancy.
