Unfortunately : Unfortunately this excess skin may never go away. You can try toning and building muscle, this may help somewhat but likely not entirely. The amount of weight gained during pregnancy, how fast it was lost, and the natural elasticity of your skin are all factors and are hard to predict and control. See below: This skin was stretched by the pregnancy, it will take time to recover. It is possible that it will never return to what you had before. Talk to your ob/gyn doctor, who has seen this problem before and get their suggestions about treatment options.
