A member asked:

Can woman with bloood cancer have kids my family foud out i had cancer when i was 6 it be gone for 7 years and i would like to know if i could have kids

It : It depends on what you had and what kind of chemotherapy you were treated with. Most women treated for leukemia as children go on to have normal fertility meaning that they can have their own children. For lymphoma, there is a higher risk of infertility, but it does not affect everyone. Your best bet to know for sure is to call the oncologist who treated you. They will know what kind of cancer and treatment you had and will give you the most accurate assessment as to whether you can have kids. Odds are, you can.
