Any : Any abdominal mass (knot as you described it) warrants an evaluation by your primary care provider. After evaluation your doctor may have an idea of what you are feeling, and may or may not want to order additional imaging studies like an ultrasound. You could be dealing with a hernia, lipoma, muscle spasm, tumor, etc. I would definitely recommend you getting it checked out. Good luck.
