I was recently treated for scabies (last week) and now i have watery blisters appearing on my fingers. is this a sign of scabies got treated twice over last 8-9 days, areas are clearing up but now i have clear watery blisters on the insides of my fingers

It : It certainly could be scabies, but watery blisters on the fingers is often a sign of "dyshidrotic eczema". This is form of eczema that is common on the hands and fingers. Treatment with a hydrating cleanser such as cerave hydrating cleanser, moisturize with cerave cream, and possible treatment with a steroid ointment would be helpful. It is possible that you have a reinfestation with scabies although that is difficult to determine without a skin scraping. I hope that helps.

Scabies: If the blisters itch, it's probably scabies. It takes 2-3 weeks for symptoms of scabies to clear up and new lesions can appear for several days. The symptoms are caused by allergy to the mites and debris they leave behind, including mites killed by treatment. It will all stop as the mites and debris are cleaned up by the immune system. But return to the doctor if new lesions after another week.
