Glass or plastic: You can use any bottle you choose, depending on what you believe to be the safest. Disposable bpa free drop-in bags are also a good option.

In my experience....: This is largely a matter of personal preference, and i've not noted a significant difference between varieties. More important is to take your time with your baby's feedings using whatever bottle you choose. Pace yourselves. Take time to burp your child frequently. Feeding your baby should be a pleasure for both of you.
