Who knows?: Normal healthy babies can use a regular standard nipple & bottle, easily found in any store. Standard nipples have worked fine for decades. But if a baby is having trouble with the milk-flow from a standard nipple, other nipples can be tried. Also, if a baby seems to be swallowing too much air while feeding, other nipples may be tried.
