Get help: If you are aware that you need to fight the battle, you are ahead of the game. Most 19 year olds are in denial that they have a problem. You can talk to a therapist who specializes in alcohol treatment, attend aa meetings or both. Good luck and have a happy, healthy new year!

See an addiction: Counselor. Have physician supervised detox if necessary. If after detox it appears that you have an underlying psychiatric condition then seek psychiatric help additionally. While you're going through this there are medications that can block the cravings 0;campral;#41;, block the high ;#40; naltrexone, vivitrol;#41; and avoid Antabuse (disulfiram) at all costs. Get involved in aa and attend at least 90 meetings in 90 days. Work the program diligently. The rewards are great and you will have a sponsor to mentor you along the way.Best wishes for a happy and sober new year and newlife.
