If : If you are requiring albuterol treatments sooner than every 4 hours, your need to go to the emergency room for steroids and stronger albuterol treatments.

Asthma: Does not sound like your asthma is well controlled but 4-6h intervals for breathing treatments does not sound excessive. If however you are not getting relief from the treatments, i would err on the side of caution. If you don't feel you need the ed over the weekend, i would recommend an appointment with whomever is managing your asthma-next available.
