Muscle : Muscle spasms that occur after intense activity points to a few possible causes. Dehydration is one possibility especially if also associted with low potassium or magnesium. This particularly common in patients who take diuretics(water pills) to control high blood pressure. The simplest thing to try is to have him eat a banana earlier in the day. Drink lots of water throughout the day, and possibly try a bottle of gatorade to replenish minerals after work.
