First, keep a diary of what time you take it, and how closely you ate when taking it and what you ate. Then see if there is a pattern. You can try to notice if high fiber foods (vegetables etc) seem to set off your indigestion more. Also try to notice if certain beverages are making it worse. Simethicone: There are over the counter medications that may help reduce gas buildup. Products that contain simethicone like Gas-X or Alka-Seltzer Anti-Gas may relieve painful symptoms of too much gas in the stomach / intestines. Tips to avoid more gas buildup include taking time when eating and drinking, eating smaller meals more often, and avoiding fizzy beverages.
