How long does a juvederm treatment last? i'd like to have a juvederm treatment for my laugh lines, but i heard it doesn't last very long and you have to keep going back for more injections. is this true? how long will the effects last for?

JUVÉDERM® : JuvÉderm® xc is a clear gel manufactured by allergan. It is a smooth-consistency gel and looks like clear hair gel but it is infused with Lidocaine to improve comfort during treatment. The length of time it lasts really depends on where you put it in the face. As a rule, areas that move more (lips) will re-absorb faster than areas that do not move as much (forehead) and times range from 6 months to 2 years.. The fact that it does not last forever is a double edged sword. If you like it, obviously you want it to last a ong time. If for some reason you don't like it, you may be glad that it will slowly re-absorb. Hope that helps.
