Juvederm : Juvederm is a temporary filler and is naturally resorbed by the body with time. The results tend to last about 6-12 months. Other fillers are available for treating that area including restylane, (dermal fillers) which is a hyaluronic acid filler like juvederm. Radiesse can also be used and tends to last longer, about 12 months. All of these fillers can be repeated to continue their effects.

From : From my experience and the collective experience of other juvederm expert injectors, the length of duration of juvederm varies between 3 and 9 months with an average of 4-5 months. Although the company has claims of the effect lasting up to a year, this is often not the case for the first treatment. Patients who regularly undergo injections of juvederm do seem to experience longer durations of action because of the changes the juvederm can impart underneath the surface of the skin, mainly the proliferation of cells called fibroblasts that help to secrete collagen locally and extend the effect of volumization imparted by juvederm.

Depends: Usually, the first injection lasts about six months. After the second time, the fda accepts the manufacturer's claim that it lasts up to a year. The administration of juvederm, restylane, (dermal fillers) or Perlane causes the skin to reform its own collage.

Variable time: Juvederm is a temporary filler that is best for contouring around the mouth area. It's longevity is between 8-12 months. However, it may enhance the collagen in areas of injection; thus, the long term results may be longer. www.artofplasticsurgery.com.

JUVÉDERM® : JuvÉderm® xc is a clear gel manufactured by allergan. It is a smooth-consistency gel and looks like clear hair gel but it is infused with Lidocaine to improve comfort during treatment. The length of time it lasts really depends on where you put it in the face. As a rule, areas that move more (lips) will re-absorb faster than areas that do not move as much (forehead) and times range from 6 months to 2 years.. The fact that it does not last forever is a double edged sword. If you like it, obviously you want it to last a ong time. If for some reason you don't like it, you may be glad that it will slowly re-absorb. Hope that helps.

Any : Any injectable will have a variable period of lasting. It will vary from one patient to the next.I think a good skin care program for 4-6 mweeks followed by peeling or lasering will give you a better long term solution.Juvaderm can last 2-3 months or more depending on which one you aer using ie the ultra or ultra plus.

Not permanent: Juvederm typically lasts about 8-12 months. At which point, you would need to repeat the injections. Fat grafting is an alternative, that may have a more long term effect.
