For : For wrinkles on the forehead, consider botox. Wrinkles on the forehead are the result of contracting forehead muscles and Botox is the only treatment that truly addresses that by temporarily paralyzing the forehead muscles. A facelift is more for sagging skin and would only partially reduce the look of the forehead wrinkle. Filler substances won't address the underlying problem on the forehead. Fillers such as juvederm and Restylane (dermal fillers) work well around the mouth, though.

Both, either/or: These are complementary procedures and not necessarily alternative procedures meaning that you may derive synergistic benefits from having both performed rather than one or the other performed alone. While the face lift is excellent for the neck and jawline the fat grafts tend to accomplish improvements in the peri-oral and peri-orbital regions. Also consider peri-oral resurfacing or eyelid tucks (witch hazel).

Combination of both: Facelift and fat grafting are complementary to each other. Face lift does not treat the wrinkles around the mouth and does not restore volume to the face. Forehead wrinkles improve with Botox but if the forehead is loose. And eyebrows low, a forehead lift or brow lift may be indicated. It all depends on your anatomy and facial features to know which procedure will work the best for you.

Both: You may need several things to adequately treat everything. Browlift for the forehead. Facelift and fat injections for the facial wrinkles. Skin resurfacing around the mouth. Talk to a board certified plastichttp://www.Dassmd.Com/facelift/facelift-in-los-angeles.Html surgeon.

Facial Rejuvenation: Facial rejuvenation usually entails multiple surgical and nonsurgical procedures and a specific set is customized for each patient's treatment plan during the consultation.Your concerns of forehead and perioral wrinkles will not improve significantly with a facelift alone.Add either Botox or a forehead lift. For the perioral wrinkles, it will be fillers and/or laser resurfacing.See your plast surg.

Wrinkles: Although the technical name for a facelift is rhytidectomy, it does not remove wrinkles, per se. However, by replacing sagging tissues and removing excess skin, some wrinkles are less apparent. After facelift surgery, there is less of an accordion effect of the excess skin falling on itself.
