Continuous bleeding: Low dose oral contraceptives in some women require very punctual use of the active pills within the same hour of the preceding day, or breakthrough bleeding will occur, similar to the mechanism which causes bleeding at the end of a pack, normally. Stop the current pack, wait five days, then start a new pack and take the active pills 24 hours apart, which may resolve this problem.
