While : While hormonal changes can cause temporary hair loss, if you have persistent hair loss then you need to have a medical and blood evaluation. There are medical conditions that can cause this (such as thyroid or infections) and you need to have an evaluation. There are treatments for hair loss but the cause needs to be determined. You should be eating a healthy diet but vitamins are not known to be helpful as long as you are eating healthy.

Evaluation: There are quite a few causes for excessive hair loss. Your doctor can evaluate & if the cause is determined, the solution will become more apparent.
