Sorry : Sorry to answer your question with more questions but: did you have your prolactin level tested and what was it? If it was elevated and causing suppression of ovulation, yes, you will likely begin to ovulate after discontinuation of the medication but it may take a few weeks.

Prolactin levels: Unless you are lactating (nursing) prolactin levels are not elevated. Prolactin is only produced when nursing or with a pituitary tumor which stops the "inhibitory" pituitary hormone which allows production. Ask your gyn physician to obtain a CT scan of your sella if your levels of prolactin are above 100.
