A : A false-positive pregnancy test results are very rare. It is possible to have some vaginal bleeding due to implantation. If you have taken a pregnancy test and the result was positive, make an appointment with your doctor to confirm (or deny) pregancy with a blood test.

HPT: Recommend retesting. If you have a normal period which is at the correct time with your normal amount of bleeding than you should not be pregnant. If there is a question about results, the serum pregnancy test is considered the gold standard.
