Is the ca-19-9 test always accurate in diagnosing bladder cancer?

No: Ca-19-9 is useful for pancreatic cancer. Bladder cancer has no blood markers at this time. There are urine markers for bladder cancer that your physicain will use - the two most common ones are cytology and fluorescent in situ hybridization (fish).
