Are there medications that can cure hydroceles?

No: No, there is no specific medication or medications that can treat hydroceles. This is generally a surgical problem which needs a needle drainage in the office or surgery to remove the bag of around surrounding the testicle.

No: Most hydroceles in babies regress spontaneously as do small post traumatic hydroceles or hydroceles associated with torsion of an appendix testis or epididymo-orchitis. Occasional hydroceles, in the elderly or infirm can be treated by needle aspiration + injection of a sclerosant such as tetracycline. Essentially, surgery is required.

Possibly: If you have a reactive hydrocele (ie from trauma, infection, recent surgery, etc) treatment with anti-inflammatories may help. Generally, medications are not helpful.
