Persistent : Persistent sharp left lower abdominal pain is a concern, and could represent several different issues. It could represent an ovarian cyst, and is possible if your hormones are shifting as you have recently had a baby and are breastfeeding. If there is any concern you are pregnant, then you should have a pregnancy test. If you are having any difficulty urinating or having blood in your urine, then you should have a urine laboratory test. If you have worsening pain, continued pain, any vomiting or fever, you should have immediate evaluation.

Adhesions?: I don't think it's related to your medications but may be related to your previous c section. Adhesions can occur after c sections, and more commonly, after abdominal surgery!
