Although not conventionally used as an antidepressant strattera is also sometimes capable of leading to hepatotoxicity. The mood stabilizer of Depakote famously has the possibility of hepatotoxicity. There are possibilities of the remaining antidepressants leading to hepatotoxicity although this outcome is rare. Talk with your doctor!

Cymbalta (duloxetine) ; liver: All of the ssris and snri's are metabolized through the liver. I have yet to see any difficulty with liver function tests with cymbalta (duloxetine). Since oct3, 2013 more than 1 million people have used cymbalta (duloxetine). Of that 1 million, 41 have had liver failure. The majority of them used alcohol or had an underlying liver disease to begin with causing the fda to change to warning to doctors not to prescribe it to people with liver disease or who drink actively while taking cymbalta (duloxetine). As long as you do not have underlying liver disease and do not drink alcohol, your risk with Cymbalta (duloxetine) is miniscule.
