I : I would advise that you have careful screening to rule out seizures. There is a type of seizure called absence seizure (more common in children and young adults) that is characterized by spacing out. It would be helpful to see a neurologist to have an eeg and possibly an mri. If there is any sensation of fainting, a cardiac (heart related) cause should be ruled out.

Huh? What?: Oops, back now, sorry. As long as not too frequent, can be due to stress, inadequate quality or quantity of sleep, boredom, prolonged close attention/focus, etc. It can be the mind taking a moment to pause and allow refocusing. It might be adhd or related. Should keep a simple diary of how often / doing what / time of day & discuss w/your dr if concerned.
