Sometimes: Depending upon the size of an acoustic neuroma (aka vestibular schwannoma), headaches may be associated with the tumor. Hearing loss is a more common symptom but headaches often occur with larger tumors.

Rarely: Acoustic neuromas would very infrequently cause neck pain and would only cause headache if very large. Acoustic neuromas usually present with ringing ing in one ear and hearing loss in one ear.
