C. Albicans: Candida albicans is a fungus that is in our intestinal tract (mouth all the way to the anus) and in the vagina of females. The fungus serves a purpose to aid in our digestion and health. Infection can occur when it is out of balance. Most common cause is long term or heavy antibiotic use. The most common areas to get an infection are the vagina and the mouth where called thrush.
