Do any of you have opinions re holistic gallbladder "cleanses" using epsom salts, olive oil and lemon juice. what is left after all the tests ?

Don't "cleanse"!: The ingredients you mentioned have no bearing on "cleansing" your gallbladder. In fact, epsom salts may harm your kidney. The gallbladder contains concentrated bile produced in the liver, & it empties in response to dietary fats. There is no physiologic way to wash out your gallbladder, so please don't waste your time and risk your health!

Gallstones: This is a perfect example of how something sounds good so it must work. The problem is that when you ingest these things they are usually destroyed by stomach acid and ineffective in the GB. The oil makes your GB contract and may give you pain but if the stones are bigger that the cystic duct thy cannot exit the GB. There are some mess that dissolve stones but they take a long time and expensiv
