A member asked:

I've had chicken pox and shingles twice & i'm only 19, is there a chance that i could get them again?

Possibly: If you have had varicella related eruptions on 4 occasions so far you may have an isolated immune deficiency that prevents you from forming protective antibodies. An evaluation through your pcp or with an immunologist could help you get a specific answer & may provide you way to avoid future outbreaks.

Where did the zoster: (shingles) occur on your body? Same area or different? Sometimes herpes simplex relapses can look like shingles especially on the butt.
