Possibly: Chicken pox is highly contagious and almost all get the illness, even if not obvious, in childhood. The virus takes up residence in the nerve root in some individuals and is undetectable. When some event later in life lowers the resistance, the virus travels down the nerve to erupt on the skin (shingles). You are no more likely to get this than anyone. Consider a booster shot.

Shingles: Probabilty of having shingles is dependent on different factors like age, any medical problems, if immunocompromised due to any disease or secondary to medications like chemotherapy etc. Risk starts to increase from the age of 50 . Risk can be significantly decreased by taking shingles vaccination.
