If there's too much fluid around the baby is it possible they will have to remove some? if so how?

No: No, too much fluid is not a problem. They may wonder why there is all that amniotic fluid, but the real issue is whether there is a problem. If the baby looks good, then it's not an issue. Usually the bigger problem is when there isn't enough fluid. That's a much bigger deal and spurs intense investigation. There are few issues that cause too much amniotic fluid.
