Depends: If you are getting a deep treatment you may have a week of downtime and then be red or pink for the next couple of weeks. If you get a less deep treatment you may be down only one or two days. Discuss this in depth with your doctor and be prepared for the after care necessary to heal.

7 days: Most contemporary skin resurfacing procedure allow healing within 5-7 days. Traditional non-fractionated laser resurfacing can result in many weeks of redness but this can be concealed with makeup after the first week.
