Myofascial/obscure,,: This, apparently, is a poorly understood syndrome of pain occurring in many points, and consisting of focal point tenderness. It's reproduced on palpation, and the pain can be aching and deep, and range from slight to lightning-like. It may be caused by connective tissue diseases, poor posture, and emotional disturbances. Treatment can vary from relaxation/physical therapy to antidepressants.
