Skin Elasticity: Skin elasticity can change as we age. Gravity, sun exposure, smoking, can all cause skin to become more lax or "stretchy." if you were previously heavy and lost weight this may result in skin not contracting. A plastic surgeon can help you find a solution to your particular issues.

Perhaps: There are rare medical conditions that have stretchy connective tissue- including skin. You would need to be diagnosed before you can get the right answer. Consider marfan's syndrome.
